This agent had so much goin on that she just was not very attentive towards our deal. She didn't have time to even communicate with us at all. Not sure where to start. My wife searched online to find an agent from San Francisco online that could help us find a place in Vegas. I don't even know where to start! I was completely new to home buying, and was very cautious of working with just anyone. We had reached out to Lilly due to her working with military (I happened to be a Veteran leveraging my VA loan/benefits). Lily Ruiz with Monticello Real Estate in Las Vegas, NV just recently helped us with the purchase of our home. She was available any time and was able to work with our crazy schedules and time differences.
During our first interaction on the phone, Lily made us feel very comfortable as we were looking to relocate and had to fly in to be able to start our home search. Initially, we discussed the entire house-buying process and told her about ourselves and what we were looking for. I appreciated how upfront she was during that initial phone call, as she told us what would be possible with our budget and what wouldn't be. She explained the ins and outs of the process. Her general attitude and approach were always professional, and she made us feel confident that she would be able to help us find the perfect home for our needs.
Upon our first meeting in person, she met us with a warm hug, and her sincerity was even more evident. She had already sent us listings and recommendations of homes and was always available and quick to respond to our many, many emails, text messages, and phone calls.
Really, she never made us feel like we were a bother; she was always upbeat, cheerful, and most importantly, she always returned our calls or answered our messages. She helped us narrow down our options and really figure out what we were willing to compromise on and what we weren’t. We tried to research as many houses as possible prior to her showing us homes so as to not have to look at too many, but Lily was already 10 steps ahead of us and had done the same.
Even when we went back home and had not yet found a house, we would receive listings via email late at night when we thought she should have been resting. Lily really worked hard for us. A couple of days after arriving back home, she sent us a listing that seemed to be the perfect fit. We made the call to Lily, and she was quick to respond and go over to the home and video record it as she walked through. With her expertise and knowledge of the market, she was able to negotiate the best possible deal on the purchase of the home.
With her guidance, we were able to make an offer and close on our dream house within a few weeks, navigating the potentially overwhelming pile of paperwork and logistics associated with home ownership. We couldn’t have done it without her and would happily recommend her to anyone and everyone—not only for her real estate expertise, but because she is a kind, honest, sincere professional whose commitment and dedication to her work truly show.
And I have to say again—she really works hard for her clients. She said she would find us the perfect home, and she absolutely did. She is absolutely a pleasure to work with. She really listened to the feedback we gave her during each house we visited in order to narrow the search and find a home that met all our wants and needs.
